Mayra Rocha is an  Emmy-Award-winning journalist, On-Air Business Reporter and Financial Wellness speaker.

She graduated from the University of Virginia’s Global School of Business with an MBA in Global Management. 

She is the Host, creator and producer of the Personal Finance series "Fitness Financiero" (A Univision Digital financial bootcamp) and  a producer for  "Cafe Dato" ( A data driven digital Show) focused on financial, wellness and auto stories.

She is an on-air financial expert  for Univision Network’s flagship shows Univision Noticias,  Primer Impacto, 24/7 Noticias and Despierta America.

Rocha is the founder of @eldinerosiimporta, a media platform focused on destigmatizing the conversation among money with Hispanics. 

Her mission is to empower the Hispanic Community to understand financial issues through stories to make better decisions with their money.

For the past 15 years, Rocha interviewed politicians and leaders for the most respected Spanish language news program in the U.S. 


She has also a freelancer for Marketplace with American Public Media and the Renaud Brothers for commissions with the New York Times and HBO. 

Her work in personal finance,  has regarded as a successful financial spokesperson for the latino community.

She has experience with Corporate media strategy, managing teams, audience growth, and content development.
